Some important details about the festival
March 23, 2019. Just in time to kick start your spring and to shake off those winter doldrums!
The Horticulture Building is situated at 1525 Princess Patricia Way in Lansdowne Park in the Glebe. There is underground parking available for this venue. For more information on parking, visit the Parking section on the TD Place website.
If you're taking the bus, your ride is FREE on any OC Transpo route - just show your printed ticket or e-ticket to the operator.
We understand that there’s only so much coffee you can drink, which is why we’re excited to offer a “Behind the Bean” lecture series and some educational workshops with the soundtrack of sweet beats being provided by DJ Sweet Cheeks.
The event is from 10 AM to 7 PM and yes you can! All you need to do is show your hand stamp as you re-enter the venue.
A very big thank you to our wonderful event sponsors for their ongoing support in making this festival happen.
A portion of Ottawa Coffee Fest’s proceeds will go to supporting Birch Bark Coffee Company’s water initiative for Ontario reserves. Through the sales of its coffee, the Birch Bark Coffee Company plans to take immediate action to elevate the on-going “Boiled Water Advisories” in Ontario and help the other provinces across Canada. For every 40 bags of coffee sold, they will be able to equip one home with a water filtration unit for their home.
They have collaborated with Can-Am Wellness to purchase their certified Belkcraft Four-Stage and Six-Stage Water Filtration Systems, and plan to install them at no cost to Indigenous families and communities suffering from poor water conditions on every reserve in Ontario.
